Content of the lesson
The term "sustainable development" is introduced and the institutions that define the term specified. The lesson
outlines the global significance of sustainable development and identifies the three main dimensions of sustainable development.
Sustainable development indicators are discussed critically and challenges addressed that sustainable development brings along
at both, individual and collective level in the North and South.
