Content of the lesson
The lesson introduces the "big theories", i.e. modernisation and dependency.
Target group
Introductory lesson for Bachelor students: It is their first introduction to development issues. It is useful (but
not necessary) to use the lesson in combination with "Describing Poverty". However, the sequence should be first "Development
Theories" and than "Describing Poverty".
